At our hotel, we believe that luxury and sustainability can coexist in harmony. For this reason, we implement actions aimed at reducing our environmental impact while promoting a culture of conservation among our guests and collaborators.
As part of our sustainability policies, we change linens —including bed sheets and towels in the suites— every three days. This practice helps reduce water and energy consumption, as well as the use of laundry products, minimizing our environmental footprint. We invite our guests to join these eco-conscious efforts and become part of our shared commitment toward a more sustainable future.
Additionally, we encourage more sustainable transportation alternatives for exploring the destination. The public transportation system in Los Cabos connects key points throughout the region, including San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, the international airport, and the main tourist corridors, offering an accessible and practical way to travel while helping reduce environmental impact.
Los Cabos is home to extraordinary natural wealth and several protected areas recognized for their biodiversity, landscapes, and ecological importance. Among them is Cabo Pulmo National Park, considered one of the most important marine areas in the Sea of Cortez. This park protects the only living hard coral reef on the Baja California Peninsula and one of the few remaining living reefs in North America, estimated to be more than 25,000 years old. Thanks to its remarkable marine biodiversity, Cabo Pulmo has become an international benchmark for conservation and responsible tourism.
Another of the region’s great natural treasures is the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Reserve, a mountain range rising over 2,000 meters high and home to a vast diversity of endemic flora and fauna. This ecological sanctuary shelters emblematic species such as mule deer, golden eagles, and pumas, while also offering low-impact activities including hiking, birdwatching, and mountain biking, all under strict environmental conservation policies.
In San José del Cabo, visitors can also discover the San José del Cabo Estuary, a state ecological reserve protected since 1944 and considered one of the region’s most important ecosystems. Home to more than 200 animal species, primarily birds, the estuary is an ideal destination for observing wildlife in its natural habitat and serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving local ecosystems.
Finally, the Desert Park Natural Reserve in Cabo San Lucas offers visitors an opportunity to experience the unique desert ecosystem of Baja California Sur. Its trails through dunes and native vegetation provide breathtaking landscapes, birdwatching opportunities, and spectacular sunsets, encouraging recreational activities that foster a connection with nature and respect for the environment.
Through these actions and initiatives, we aim to inspire a more conscious travel experience, where well-being, environmental responsibility, and the conservation of natural resources become an essential part of experiencing Los Cabos.
